Eligibility

The First Tee Parent-Child is open to two-player teams consisting of Parents and Children of ALL ages.  The definition of “Parent” may be mother, father, step-parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or mentor.  The Committee has final approval on all teams.

Tournament Week Schedule of Events

Friday, September 14th –Thursday, September 20th  – Practice Round of $25 for Adults (all inclusive) and complimentary for Juniors with option of cart for $20 (MUST call RCC for tee time – 343.1330)

Saturday, September 22nd
8:00 am – Begin Check-In / Practice Areas open
9:30 am – Shotgun start for Adult-Youth 9-hole “Fun” Captain’s Choice division
12:00 pm – Lunch begins (for both 9-hole and 18-hole divisions)
12:30 pm – Awards Reception for 9-hole divisions
1:30 pm – Shotgun Start for Adult-Youth and Adult-Adult 18-hole divisions

Sunday, September 23rd
7:00 am – Begin Check-In / Practice Areas open
8:30 am – Shotgun start for Adult-Youth and Adult-Adult 18-hole divisions
1:00 pm – Lunch, Ice Cream and Awards for all 18-hole divisions (Saturday and Sunday) & Lunch   for Adult-Youth 5-hole division
1:30 pm – Shotgun start for Adult-Youth 5-hole division
3:00 pm – Awards for Adult-Youth 5-hole division

Tournament Format & Divisions

 

Competition will be an 18-hole modified alternate shot, 9-hole Captain’s Choice or 5-hole Captain’s Choice event played on the Dogwood/Crabapple nines.  The 9-hole division will only be played on Saturday, the 5-hole division will only be played on Sunday; however, the 18-hole division participants may choose between Saturday and Sunday.  Players will be divided into multiple flights by age AND skill level based on number of entries received.

Entry FeeS, Deadline & APPLICATION

Entry fees vary based on division and Early Bird rates are good through August 1st. Any entries received after August 1st will be $15 more per team, regardless of division.  This entry fee includes 5, 9 or 18 holes with cart, range balls, box lunch, and an Awards Reception following tournament play.  All entries are due by September 15th and teams can easily sign-up and pay online at HERE.

Adult-Youth 5-hole “Fun” – $50/team
Sunday at 1:30pm
Adult-Youth 9-hole “Fun” – $85/team
Saturday at 9:30am
Adult-Youth 18-hole – $110/team
Saturday at 1:30pm or Sunday @ 8:30am
Adult-Adult 18-hole – $135/team
Saturday at 1:30pm or Sunday @ 8:30am
