ELIGIBILITY

The First Tee Parent-Child is open to two-player teams consisting of Parents and Children of ALL ages.  The definition of “Parent” may be mother, father, step-parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or mentor.  The Committee has final approval on all teams.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT & DIVISIONS

Competition will follow the USGA rules of play and will be the following:
5-Hole “FUN” Division:  5 holes in a Captain’s Choice format (combination of Crabapple/Redbud)
9-Hole “FUN” Division: 9 holes in a Captain’s Choice format (Crabapple)
18-Hole Division: 18 holes in a Modified Alternate Shot format (Redbud – Crabapple)

There will be a  Championship Flight in the 18-Hole Tournament for any teams that have two players with an established handicap.  Gross and Net prizes will be awarded in the Championship Flight.  Those participating in the 5, 9 or 18-Hole Tournament without a handicap will be flighted in separate flights based on skill level, age and past tournament experience. Awards will be based on number of entries received.

ENTRY FEES, DEADLINE & APPLICATION

This entry fee includes 5, 9 or 18 holes with cart, range balls, box lunch, and awards following tournament play.  All entries are due by September 15th and teams can easily register and pay online at HERE.  Be sure and register by August 1st to take advantage of Early Bird pricing!

5-Hole “FUN” Division – $65/team ($75 after August 1st)
Saturday at 1:00pm or Sunday at 1:30pm
9-Hole “FUN” Division – $90/team ($100 after August 1st)
Saturday at 9:00am or 1:00pm
18-Hole Division – $140/team ($150 after August 1st)
Saturday at 8:30am

Friday, September 13th – Thursday, September 19th – Practice Round of $25 for Adults (all inclusive) and complimentary for Juniors with option of cart for $20 (MUST call RCC for tee time – 343.1330)

Saturday, September 21st

8:00 am Begin Check-In / Practice Areas open for Saturday 9-Hole AM division
9:00 am Shotgun start for Saturday 9-Hole AM division
Noon Lunch begins for all divisions
12:30 pm Awards Reception and Lunch for 9-Hole AM division with Ice Cream
1:00 pm Shotgun Start for Saturday 9-Hole PM & Saturday 5-Hole PM rounds
3:00 pm Cookies and awards for Saturday 5-hole PM division
4:30 pm Cookies and awards for Saturday 9-Hole PM division


Sunday, September 22nd

7:00 am Begin Check In / Practice Areas open for Sunday 18-Hole division
8:30 am Shotgun start for Sunday 18-Hole division
Noon Lunch and Practice Area opens for Sunday 5-Hole division
1:00 pm Lunch and awards for Sunday 18-Hole division

3:30 pm Cookies and awards for Sunday 5-Hole division

Friday, September 27th   Raffle Drawing and prize postings

REFUND POLICY
Due to the nature of the event, we are unable to offer refunds.  If the course becomes unplayable due to weather conditions, the tournament committee will issue vouchers to be used by the team at another time during the year.
